Helloooo-echo-echo-echo...
*Sound of crickets*

UPDATE: I'm happy to report that I have finally forked out a large chunk of money for a decent brand spanky new, state of the art compact digital camera. So no more embarrassing iPhone captures of my work.
Having said that... [Warning: Impending rant. Click the "off" button if you do not wish to proceed]... I am not a professional photographer or graphic designer, obviously. I spent the last 10-15 years (in fact all my life) honing my make-up skills not my photographic or digital art. I will never have a studio on hand with thousands of dollars worth of photography equipment and/or spend 24 hrs in post editing shopping the images beyond human recognition (as I don't believe in over-shopped plastic folio images) so you will never see that from photos I've taken and edited anyway. Plus I don't even know how to use photoshop. The photography I produce will only be satisfactory at best. Even though I did my best with my personal skills and equipment on hand at the time and made sure the images I posted were sharp enough with good lighting so the make-up work can be seen clearly, I always hoped peeps would look past the below average camera work and just concentrate on what's going on with the make-up, which is the main point. Most of the time I got away with it, but I have been told off quite harshly by a few photographers on deviantART, and have had my make-up group submissions rejected a few times on the grounds of non professional magazine quality photography. Seriously, wtf is up with that anyway? I'm a Make-Up Artist, it's my make-up skills I should be judged on, not the photography.
Peace Yo

Greetings Groovers,
I had one day left on my premium member subscription and I just went to renew it for the year and saw I had been given an additional three months out of the blue. I'm not sure if dA did this as a bonus gift thingamy or it was a pressie from another kind and generous deviant type person, but either way, thank you so very much. The untold joy this brings me is beyond measure and can only be expressed like this ---->
Cheers again,

Bec
